Paddle Leash Instructions

Shock cord is oversized to fit over paddle blade.

Slide elastic cord over blade and center on paddle.

Cinch up slack in cord, so quick-release sits tight on paddle stock.

Option A: Knot off excess cord and cut off slack behind cord lock. (note: cord will not fit back over blade) or

Option B: Cinch up excess cord with cord lock and knot up excess slack, so cord can be unknotted to fit back over blade for removal.

Cord is now fastened firmly to paddle, simply quick-release if you want to detach cord from paddle.

Hook snaphook to boat, where appropriate to secure paddle leash.
